Emission intensity of a retail - warehouse (EPC Rating: F) building. This emission factor applies to unenclosed retail space such as strip center or strip mall where buildings are usually stand-alone and situated side-by-side with their entrance facing a main street or carpark. This factor should be used when estimated building energy consumption per floor area based on official building energy labels and the floor area are available. Emissions are calculated using estimated building energy consumption and average emission factors specific to the respective energy source. The emission factor refers to the use phase of the building only. The building’s construction or demolishment phase and its emissions are not covered.
