This is Data Release 18, released on October 7th, 2024.
To use the (automatically-updating) dynamic version, you can use ^18.

Simplified data versions
We have simplified how we talk about and accept data versions based on user feedback. The
18.18 version format still works and is equivalent to the new fixed version format 18.New Data
- ADEME 2024 - Base Carbone V23.3 dataset including data from sectors Waste, Energy and Transport.
- OpenIO-Canada: spend-based dataset for Canadian regions applicable for year 2020.
- Fuel emission factors for Canadian regions for year 2022 by the Government of Canada.
- Fuel emission factors (gross calorific value) for Netherlands for year 2024 by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.
- Biogenic CO2 emission factors for year 2024 from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.
- Electricity emission factors for New Zealand for years 2015 to 2023 by MfE.
- Electricity emission factor for Hong Kong for year 2023 by CLP Group.
Data Changed
This list only covers major changes. Changes covering a smaller subset of emission factors, or changes such as name or description changes, are not listed. Find a link at the end of this document to a structured table listing all changes.
- We have updated fuel emission factors for Canadian regions for years 2015-2021.
- We have updated names and activity ids of biogenic electricity emission factors from BEIS.
- We have updated electricity emission factors for Hong Kong for years 2019-2022 by CLP Group.
- We have added the version number to the ADEME dataset names.
Data Removed
No data has been removed in this release.
